also enthusiastic supporters of RCHS athletic teams so “Cuddly Creations” must also take a back seat to girls and boys basketball, soccer, volleyball, baseball and girls and boys track and cross country. Then in the summer months, there are community teams that the Stephensons follow, cheering on the same youngsters they’ve come to know from high school contests.

It isn’t just the schools that have won their support; they’re ardent supporters of all things in Rappahannock. First introduced to the county through their craft sales to Jimmy and Phylis Swindler’s Country Manor Gift Shop, they moved here from Loudoun County six years ago. “And it’s the best move we’ve ever made! The environment here is so much better for the kids—for everyone,” Eva Stephenson concluded.
