One would require public notices to be made when power lines of 150 kilovolts or more are proposed. The law now provides for notice of lines of 200 kilovolts or more; he originally sought a threshold of 100. That bill came at the request of Rappahannock County.
Another bill would require public hearings to be held before state sludge permits are issued.
