Mrs. Corrinne Frances DelGrosso, 50, of Flint Hill, died Sunday, February 19, 1984, at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. John’s Catholic Church in Front Royal by the Rev. William Ruehl.
Mrs. DelGrosso was born on February 20, 1933, in New York, daughter of Vivian K. Putnam Cook of West Palm Beach, Fla., and the late Warren C. Cook.
Mrs. Delgrosso was an active member of the Flint Hill Homemakers’ Club for the past decade. She served as president for the county’s Homemakers’ Association in 1976 and 1977 and president of her club in Flint Hill in 1978 and 1979.
An artist with needle and thread, she donated hours and hours of her time to assisting community organizations. She made costumes for the Rappahannock Players’ productions of H.M.S. Pinafore and Peter Pan and last year created magnificent gowns in the fashions of 1833 for the Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community’s sesquicentennial ball.
