Mr. and Mrs. Mark Scruggs are living in Buies Creek, N.C. Mrs. Scruggs is the former Kay Lawrence of Amissville. Mark is enrolled at Campbell University Law School and has completed the first semester ranked 3rd in his class of approximately 100. Their address is P.O. Box 1114, Buies Creek, N.C. 27506 and they’d love to hear from their Amissville friends.

The Senior Methodist Youth Fellowship of the Amissville United Methodist Church will sponsor a Cake Walk on Friday, Feb. 25, beginning at 7:00 p.m., in the fellowship hall of the church. Everyone invited.

Mrs. Ralph Rowzie has returned home after visiting Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Hann of Cantonsville, MD. Mrs. Hann and Mrs. Rowzie stopped in Marshall to visit Rev. and Mrs. John Willis, III and Mark on their trip home. Mrs. Willis returned to Amissville to visit her mother, Mrs. Rowzie.

Candy Todd of Warrenton and Mrs. Frances Doyle visited several ladies at the United Methodist Home in Washington, D.C. recently.

Saturday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Bowey were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest LaPlanche of Glen Burnie, Md.

On Monday evening Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Burner and Mr. and Mrs. F. L. Bowey had dinner at the Chesapeake Bay Seafood House in Manassas.
