“You can't stop the winter from turning into spring,” according to a new aong being played on country music stations.
Why would anyone want to? Motorists wondered this while driving through Tuesday’s sleet, snow and slush S> they heard announcers gOport that Wakefield, the Child Care and Learning Center in Washington and Rappahannock’s public schools were all closed. Also shut down were schools (and just about everything else) jn Fauquier and Culpeper.
The announcers went on to say that folks in the listening area could expect sleet and freezing rain during the rest of Tuesday morning and up to four inches of snow before the day was over.
Rappahannock school officials now have two more snow days to schedule from Friday and Tuesday. Ironically mild Monday’s weather
