Thunderbird
Opens For ’84
The Thunderbird Museum & Archeological Park, opening March 15 for the 1984 season, is none accepting reservations for spring tours of the Museum & Park.
The Museum features the Valley’s prehistory, from 9600 B.C. to circa 1650 A.D. Tours are available for school groups, clubs and other organized groups.
The Museum is located seven miles south of Front Royal on U.S. 340 and Route 737, and is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week.
For further information or to schedule group tours, call 635-7337. Group rates are available; each tour includes an introductory slide show, the Museum exhibits, nature trails and a tour by an archeologist at the excavation area.

Rehearse
Lovely young ladies, ages 3-21, and pint sized gentlemen, ages 3-6, will assemble at the Rappahannock County Elementary School gymnasium on Monday, March 26, at 6 p.m. for registration and rehearsal for the Rappahannock County Beauty Pageant. All contestants for the pageant, set for Friday, March 30, are requested to attend.
