After discussing the matter in executive session for approximately 46 minutes, the board voted unanimously to approve the change order under the emergency provisions. This motion involved repairs along the worst section at the west end of the elementary school. The administrator would consult with legal counsel regarding reroofing the remaining two rooms at the elementary school that were to have been included in the second phase of the project.

The Rappahannock County Education Association commended the board Tuesday on its prompt action on the roof repairs.
