Granville Eastham was elected
president of. the Rappahannock County Recreation Center Association at its organizational meeting on Monday, March 18, 1974. Tom Metzinger, president of the High School’s Youth Club, was chosen association vice president. Helen Holschuh was elected secretary/treasurer.
“Winnie-the-Pooh” produced by the Country Road Players was a sellout smash hit. A total “gate” of $1,229 was collected during the two-night stand. The concession stand brought in an additional $270. The play starred Kathy Am as Pooh, Camille Prescott as Piglet and Lynne Baines as Kanga. Critics raved over Omar Stolfus’s fabulous forest setting.
