This year is certainly moving fast. Already several sports seasons have come and gone.
The eighth grade basketball team did a great job under their first year coach, Mr. Davis.
And for its first year, our vollyeball team gave a fine showing, demonstrating a lot of team work. Coach Sally Brand, in her first year as coach, enjoyed working with the lady volleyballers. From our view point, volleyball looks like it’s catching on very rapidly at RCHS.
And speaking of volleyball and Ms. Brand, she’s the first of three teachers we've chosen to answer our question of the month: What did you want to be before you became a teacher?
Mrs. Brand: Well, if I said a famous comedian or a wealthy philanthropist, would you believe me? Neither would I. Rich and famous would be nice, if it included being happy, too! Happiness is more important to me than either wealth or fame. So, what did I want to be? Happy.
If I was supposed to give you a funny answer, you’re going to be disappointed, perhaps, and I’m sure that mv friends will agree, I can take things too seriously sometimes... for example, my answer now.
