. Two men from the Shenandoah Valley were sentenced on Monday for stealing a compressor from the power company’s work site near Sperryville.
Malcom Wayne Thompson of New Market, on probation from a previous felony conviction when the violation occurred and declared an habitual offender by the court, was given a five year sentence with two years to serve and three years probation. Treatment for alcoholism was also recommended by the CODA.
Samuel Lee Fulk of Rockingham who had no prior criminal record, was also sentenced to five years. Hie time was suspended with the condition that he pay court costs and he was placed on two years probation.
