Benefit Dinner
The Child Care and Learning Center (Sursum Corda) will serve it’s benefit spaghetti dinner and jig (for St. Patrick’s Day) on Saturday, March 17, at Trinity parish hall in Washington.
Dinner seatings will be 5-5:30 p.m. and 77:30 p.m. Tickets are available in advance at Nature’s Foods and Country Cupboards in Washington, at the Learning Center on Route 626 in Tiger Valley and at the door on Saturday night.
Republicans Meet
The mass meeting for Rappahannock County Republicans will be held Tuesday, March 20, at 8 p.m. in the court house in Washington. Delegates will be chosen for district, state and national conventions.
Planning Session Set
The Rappahannock County Planning Commission will meet Wednesday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. in the court house. Agenda items include review of the proposed revisions in the county zoning ordinance and a public hearing on an application for an agricultural and forestal district.
Garden Clubbers Meet
Rappahannock Garden Club Members will get together at the home of Mrs. Florence Nordone on Wednesday, March 21. Refreshments will be served at 1 p.m. with the bittiness meeting set to begin at 2 p.m.
