Despite the disappointing 36 point loss in the first round of the regionals, the RCHS squad posted a successful season, topping the 500 mark with 14 wins and 11 losses in what was to be a rebuilding year after the graduation of key seniors, who lead the squad to the Bull Rim District regular season championship in 1982-83.
