The Rev. A. D. Good son of South Hill was a houseguest of Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard from Sunday until Wednesday. Rev. Goodson, a former pastor, was guest speaker for the Proclaim the Word services held this week at the United Methodist Churches of the Rappahannock Charge.
Mr. and Mrs. George Dickerson of Roxoboro, N.C., and Mrs. Felicia McCulloch of Woodbridge spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McCulloch.
Rev. Merlin Shorb graduated May 9 from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C., with
a master of divinity degree. The graduation ceremonies were held at the Metropolitan Memorial Methodist Church.
Mrs. Ethel Lillard visited' her sister Mrs. Annie Fultz in Winchester Wednesday.
