Stella Jenkins
Stella Pearl Jenkins, 78, of Stephens City, died May 12 at Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Jenkins was bom May 24, 1909, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late Marion W. and Laurel Dodson Atkins. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.
Her husband John D. Jenkins Sr. predeceased her. She is survived by three sons, Cleveland R. Jenkins, Fairfax, Cletus E. Jenkins and John D. Jenkins, Stephens City, a sister Nellie Dodson of Front Royal, two brothers, Gilbert Atkins of Front Royal and Raymond Atkins of Strasburg, 12 grandchildren, 22 greatgrandchildren and three greatgreat-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted May 15 at the Jones Funeral Home by the Rev. Eric Farel. Burial was in Greenhill Cemetery, Stephens City.
