Establish a plan for teaching sensitive topics in classes with students separated on the basis of sex.
• Develop a means for providing family life education to handicapped students, either in regular classrooms or through individualized instruction.
• Include in the curriculum information about laws relating to sexual conduct and misconduct and legal provisions relating to family life.
• Review the curriculum annually, allowing for continued community input. Provisions must be made for parents to conduct an on-going review of curriculum and instructional materials before they are used in the classroom, and resource centers must be established in each school so that parents may review and check out family life education materials.
