One of the most frequently asked questions at the Division of War Veterans Claims is about medical treatment at the Veterans Administration Hospital.

We veterans in this area are fortunate to have the VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, W. Va. It is a modem medical facility with good equipment.

The VA medical facilities have a dual purpose: That of providing medical services and hospitalization to veterans, and providing a system of pre-existing facilities for the armed forces in event of general military mobilization.

In the mission of providing services to veterans: Those veterans with service-connected disabilities have priority for treatment, including out-patient and in-patient, domiciliary and nursing home care (when directed by the VA Administrator).
