Robert Jordan

Deacon Robert Earl Jordan, 81, of Flint Hill, died May 10 in the Warren Memorial Hospital.

Deacon Jordan was bom March 21, 1907, in Virginia. He was a forklift operator for a fiber company and a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Flint Hill.

Surviving are his wife Deaconess Mary E. Jordan, four daughters Mary J. Tineh of Hyattsville, Md., Virginia Brown and Demetrice Jordan of Adelphi, Md., and Carolyn Brown of Flint Hill, a brother the Rev. James Jordan of Harrisburg, Pa., a sister Willie Jordan of Flint Hill, 11 grandchildren, and 11 greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services were held May 14 at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church in Front Royal with the Rev. James A. Price officiating. Burial was in Good Hope Cemetery.
