The Building Trades Department at Rappahannock County High School will have two 8x 12-foot utility sheds for sale to the general public upon their completion. These sheds may be seen now behind the RCHS shop between 3:15 and 5 p.m. until they are moved around to the front of the school in about a week.
Both buildings have a floor composed of treated 2 x 4’s spaced at 24 inches on center covered with ply, wood. Sides are also spaced 24 inches on center covered with FIR T-lll siding. Roof consists of halfinch plywood covered with asphalt shingles on the barn-type and 5-V crimp tin over 1x6 pine on the gable roof. Both buildings are built on pressure treated joists and skids.
Sealed bids must be submitted to the RCHS office no later than May 31 at 3:30 p.m. This year the shed with the window and shingles has a minimum bid of $600 and the other one a minimum bid of $500. The highest bidders will be notified June 1.
