James Anderson
James Shelton Anderson, 71, of Winchester, formerly of Marshall, died May 10 at Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Anderson was a retired plumber and electrician. He served with the Army during World War II.
He was bom Oct. 1, 1917, at The Plains, the son of Leon and Dora Cockrill Anderson. ) Mr. Anderson is survived by three sons, Ernie Anderson, Painesville, Ohio, James Anderson Jr. and Todd Anderson, Conneaut Lake, Pa., a sister Helen Swain, . Amissville, three brothers, Richard Anderson, Front Royal. Herbert and Thomas Anderson, Painesville, and one granddaughter.
His funeral was conducted May 14 in the chapel of Royston Funeral Home, Marshall, by Rev. Larry Andrews. Interment was at Marshall cemetery.
