But the names of the volunteer groups serving Rappahannock County fill two pages, she said. There are the many programs sponsored by the Extension Service, including community Extension Homemakers groups and 4-H clubs. There are the Boy and Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Brownies, most of which are sponsored by local churches.
There are the Garden Club, the Literacy Volunteers, the Rappahannock County Historical Society and the Loan Closet of Rappahannock, as well as the local chapter of the American Heart Association.
