The Rappahannock Library will host John Trott who will present his slide show, “The Natural World of Greenway,” at 8 p.m. April 3, the latest installment in the First Friday Series.
Mr. Trott’s photographs have appeared in Time, the Audubon Magazine, Smithsonian magazine, and in National Geographic publications including “The Wonder of Birds.”
The program is free and open to the public. - Mr. Trott, currently a contributing photographer for “Bird Watcher’s Digest,” was selected as one of the top 20 bird photographers by the editors of “American Birds.” He has worked as a consultant on a variety of ornithological projects for National Geographic.
His interest in nature and love for wild things, especially birds, began in North Carolina when he was a teenager. He wanted to know “all there was to know” about bird life in that area and decided to use photography as an
