upen nouse — Spring Mountain School, a Waldorf type school in Rappahannock County is having an open house from 10:30 a.m.-noon on Friday, March 27. Interested parents are invited to come and observe a classroom, ask questions, and receive information about our programs. Parents may also register their children for the 1992-93 school year. In the fall, Spring Mountain School will be offering nursery (ages threefour), kindergarten, first and second, grades, and possibly a third grade class. Old Dominion Races ^ Old Dominion Hunt Point-to-Point Races will be held Saturday, April 4 and Sunday, April 5 at Ben Venue Race Course, 16 miles west of Warrenton on U.S. 211 at Entrance of Route 729. On Saturday the first race begins at noon and on Sunday the Hunter Pairs race begins at 1 p.m. Tickets are $5, children under 12 free. —. Breakfast at Flint Hill The Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Company will have an all you care to eat breakfast at the Flint Hill fire hall from 8-11 a.m. on Saturday, March 28. Prices are $5 for adults and $3 for youth under ten. The breakfast will include sausage gravy, biscuits, apples, potatoes, bacon, eggs, coffee, tea, orange juice and milk.

Open house and testing ——Wakefield Country Day School, located 10 miles south of Front Royal on U.S. 522 in Huntly, Va. will hold an open house and placement testing beginning at 9 a.m. on March 28 for students who will enter grades pre-kindergarten through grade 12 in the 1992-93 academic year. Spring event at church Washington Baptist Church will be having their annual spring event during the Fodderstack Race beginning at 10 a.m. on April 25 with plate lunches, barbecue chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, bake sale, plants, Grandma’s Attic and crafts.

Dance at Amissville The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, April 11. The band “Tarragon” will play. Proper dress and identification is required. For more information call 937-4357.
