participating in the county cleanup campaign is scheduled for Tuesday, April 4 at 8 p.m. in the Sperryville fire hall. At this time final planning for the all-day clean up Saturday, April 8, will be completed. Every individual, young, old, male, female, will be expected to take part in the cl&th-up in his or her community. Only with 100 percent participating and cooperation of the citizens of Rappahannock County can a clean sweep be made and the beauty of the area be maintained.

W.R. Settle will open a garage, service station and store in Flint Hill in the building formerly occupied by Russell Brothers. He has previously operated a business at Ben Venue and will continue to operate a store at Laurel Mills. Settle has scheduled his opening in Flint Hill on Saturday, April 1 and will offer complete automotive repair service, gas, oil, tires, batteries and groceries at his new location.
