Congratulations to Rappahannock High School students who were winners in the Piedmont Regional Science Fair. Their photo was featured on the editorial page of last week’s Rappahannock News, including our own Amy Kellert.
I hope you also saw Jim Ryan’s photo on the frpnt page of the Life Style section of last week’s Rappahannock News. He was chairman of the building committee at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Washington. He is also chairman of the building committee for the Amisaville Ruritan Club. The community is blessed to have so many volunteers willing to give of their time and services.
Birthday wishes to two very special ladies in our community. Phoebe Green celebrated her 91st birthday last Friday and Liza Settle celebrated her 92nd birthday on Wednesday, March 25. Both have been quite ill recently. Our thoughts and prayers continue for their improved health.
