The tiny tots playground to be located at the Ruritan’s Stuart Field is moving right along. Thanks to the building expertise of Mike Smoot and Butch Zindel and their crew of volunteers we should have a Community Playground facility by summer.
The Playground Committee is still soliciting donations of money, as well as materials. Materials needed include the following:
A picnic table, double-shredded mulch for a 30 foot x 30 foot area, railroad ties, 2 or 3 dogwoods and/or a couple of shade trees, and a couple of park benches.
