2 T. sugar 1 c. flour 1 c. nuts, chopped 1 tsp. vanilla Mix together. Shape into crescents. Bake at 300 degrees for 35 minutes. Roll in confectioners sugar. Chocolate-chocolate chips cookies 11/2 cup butter or margarine 2 cups sugar 2 eggs 2 tsp. vanilla extract 2 cups flour all purpose 3/4 cup cocoa 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. salt (optional) 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips or peanut butter chips. Oven 350 degrees. In large bowl cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla; beat well, combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt, gradually blend into creamed mixture. Stir in chips, drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-9 min. Do not overcook. Cool slightly, remove from cookie sheet, cool completely and store. Makes approximate 4 1/2 dozen. Fantastic punch base 4 c. sugar 6 c. water Juice of 2 lemons or one 6 oz. can lemonade Juice of 5 oranges or one 6 oz. can orange juice 5 bananas 1-46 oz. can pineapple juice Boil sugar and water until thick; cool. Add juices and put some of punch and bananas into blender and blend. Mix all ingredients together and freeze in baggies or other containers. An hour or so before party remove from freezer and thaw to a mush. To this base you may add ginger ale, 7-up, champagne or white wine. (1-2 qts. according to taste). Serves 20.
