these local musicians-who seem more professional than student-are performing regularly around the state and in the county. On Thursday, the two bands entertained an enthusiastic crowd on home turf at the Rappahannock County High School in a “PreCompetition” Concert. On Friday evening, the RCHS Band traveled to a District XIV Concert Band Festival in Stephens City where their performance was aw arded an “Excellent” rating by a team of judges.
