An honorable
tradition
Foxhunting is an old and honorable sport with traditions going back hundreds of years.
Each hunting member and subscriber of the Rappahannock Hunt is invited by the Master of Foxhounds to hunt. Landowners, whose primary occupation is farming, open their land •to the hunt and are invited to hunt as guests.
At Thorton Hill there are 72 hounds. They go hunting three days a week, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday thking about 45 hounds to hunt each time.
