Dispensing sites
Five dispensing sites have been slated by RRMRC, the R a ppahannock-Rapidan Health Department Communications Center, Culpeper Middle School, Warrenton Community Center, Madison Fire Department and Prospect Heights Middle School.
Due to the low number of residents in Rappahannock County in comparison to the other four counties, only a back-up site has been prepared if needed within the county.
Rappahannock County volunteers could be bussed to the other localities, according to Hatter.
The initial training takes approximately three hours, with one additional training each year being required. RRMRC is planning to coordinate an intrastate disaster drill in the fall of 2005 which would include all of the state of Virginia and surrounding states.
