Rappahannock native, Florine Pullen Baldwin, made this quilt. Florine grew up in Gid Brown Hollow, the daughter of Clyde and Lillie Dwyer Pullen. She was a busy seamstress from the days when 100 lb. bags of livestock feed came in printed cotton sacks. Since retiring Florine has been quilting for family members and resale. Traditionally quilts become prized family heirlooms.
