Out of the Old Hollow in Sperryville comes a bluegrass star — Hollowbound. It all started for Brian Taylor at the age of 16, when his dreams became a reality.
Taylor family members gave him tapes and CDs of bluegrass music, and they took him to Bluegrass Festivals. This is how Brian got his taste for bluegrass music.
He first began performing in 2002 when you could find him singing gospel bluegrass music locally at church. Then Taylor’s venue spread to solo performances for the United Daughters of the Confederacy, Share-the-fun contest for 4H, and other for 4-H related events, such as camps and fundraisers, performances for different fire department events, and even a gig at Oasis vineyard for their “Dinner for the Hood.”
