Upcoming bake sale
The bake sale is being held at the Shoe Show in Front Royal on March 25th at 9 a.m.
This will be the 6th year that Carolyn’s team will have held this same bake sale and I understand that the items for sale have gotten better each year.
In fact a certain lemon pound cake is reported to have come close to causing a few fights over who was going to get it!
The other delicious items for sale will be cakes, pies, brownies, and candies and all proceeds will benefit the relay for life.
I encourage all that are able to stop by and pick something out because this type of food makes you feel good twice, once when you eat it and then again knowing the worthy cause your contribution went to help!
Also, please consider sponsoring someone in the relay for life event itself.
Just like Carolyn told me, “relay for life members are dedicated to the raising of money to benefit cancer research so that one day a cure for cancer will keep our family and friends from suffering or dying from this horrible disease.”
