This is the first column in a new series that will highlight new books, special programs, and other interesting information about the Rappahannock County Library. This week I’d like to spotlight our Local Author section.
Our county is rich in versatile writers . You’ll find poetiy, 'fiction, serious non-fiction, and more in our Local Author section, which is located in the reference room, near the biographies. Many of the works in this section shed light on local history, from Elisabeth Johnson’s informative and entertaining “Rappahannock County, VA Fact Fiction Foolishness, and Fairfax Story” to James Russell’s fascinating, “Beyond The Rim: From Slavery to Redemption in Rappahannock County.”
