These powerful poems from the hearts of the county’s students touched the audience in a profound way. They were not only emotionally moved but instructed about the art of living. Their literary offerings awakened feelings, thoughts and experiences about unique and universal struggles about growing up and being different in our culture.
Ki Theatre is grateful for the wellspring of support and enthusiasm from all the students, parents, volunteers and teachers who made this enchanting evening possible. The Theatre also is appreciative for the generous support of the National Endowment for the Arts, the Virginia Commission for the Arts, the William and Mary Greve Foundation, and individuals throughout the county whose donations make such programs possible.
