For many that live in Rappahannock County celebrating
St. Patrick’s Day is particularly significant
as they’ve found their pot of gold, their plot of * green, their treasure trove and they are more than lucky in love they are lucky in life to be living in some of the most beautiftd land in Virginia. And, they are living with other folks who feel the same way.
This county is not only rich in natural beauty but rich in its inherent collective community that embraces artists, authors, artisans, animal lovers, business owners, food lovers and renowned chefs, farmers, educators, historians, politicians, attorneys, sellers of fine real estate and buyers of fine real estate, musicians, valueoriented and valued volunteers in another treasure trove of community action groups, and young people.
Let’s look at the students. While there aren’t that many compared to surrounding counties, it’s quality that counts and we’ve got it here in Rappahannock.
They’re reciting poetiy, playing instruments, creating paintings, designing things, winning college scholarships, raising money for tsunami victims and countless other worthy causes, they’re crossing county lines and bringing home awards ftum district, regional and state competitions and they’re also grappling with being kids and seeking their own visions.
They are the future and as \ve celebrate a day that many consider “lucky”, let’s smile—the future looks bright.
