The group has played together at Sunnyside’s “Roots n River”, Salem Pick’n Party, Sperryville Fire Department and other events. They have played as an informal band for about one and one half years and the group officially adopted the name “Hollowbound” in February 2005.
Their new CD is called “The Long Way Home.” It was released in January 2005. It is a four song CD and sells for $7. Two of the songs were written by Taylor, “Hard Pleas’n Woman” and “Wandering Mind.” The other two songs were cowritten with Clinedinst, “Bluegrass State of Mind” and “Thank you Kind Soldier.”
