Other habitat-related presentations will follow on every other Saturday. Those who attend can get the real dirt on soil and microbes and their importance in our ecosystems, find out what to do about those alien green invaders that are taking over native habitat, how to turn a small woodlot .into a wildlife paradise, and more. The Task Force will also repeat its wellreceived spring migratory-bird identification walk and Butterfly Day.
All of the presentations are free and do not require reservations, but with the large turnout for the open house, and the limited seating at the library, those interested are encouraged to come early to ensure getting a seat.
