The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1150
located in Sperryville plans to erect a lasting memorial to all veterans who honorably served their country. A copy of the proposed monument and a sketch of the area in the Sperryville Cemetery where the monument will be erected is available from the VFW upon request.
Our goal for completion is May 2007 with plans for a memorial service to commemorate this monument. A program of events will be finalized by VFW Post 1150 before this date and the community will be welcome to attend.
Membership in Post 1150 is very small and our funds extremely limited. This
