Lady Owls
Although The WCDS Lady Owls varsity team was able to win a game against Rappahannock County with a score of 4332, they lost both Wakefield games and a game against the Front Royal Flames. On January 30, the girls lost 28-22 with top scorer Chantel Paul making 14- points. In the February 8 game, the girls lost 35-20 while Paul scored another 14 points. The girls played a close game on February 9, scoring 29 points against the Flames 30. Paul was once again the top scorer, scoring a total of 23 points.
Re-scheduled
This Thursday (Tonight) WCDS will play Word of Life School during a home game starting at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday’s canceled game against Quantico has been rescheduled for this Saturday,. February 17. During the game the WCDS Athletic Department will honor the Senior athletes. The girl’s game will begin at 4:00 p.m. while the boy’s match starts at 5:30.
