Pursuant to Section 170-136 of Rappahannock County Code and Section 15.1-431 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Board of Zoning Appeals of Rappahannock County, Virginia, will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, February 28, 2007 at seven-thirty (7:30) in the evening at the Rappahannock County Courthouse on Gay Street in Washington, Virginia. Consideration shall be given to all applications presented in accordance with submission requirements.

VARIANCE #07-02-02 Dorothy C. Butler, owner of 1.00 acre off Pearl Lane In Sperryvllle, VA (Tax Map 37, Parcel 15, zoned A-Agricultural, Piedmont District), desires a Variance of the front yard setback from 100-feet to 70-feet and a Variance of the rear yard setback from 50-feet to 38-feet In order to construct a single-family dwelling. Variance allowed pursuant to Section 170-136 of the Rappahannock County Corn.

No applicant or other party, in interest, and no attorney for an applicant or party in interest, shall initiate a contact with a member of the BZA for the purpose of conducting a private discussion, in person or by telephone, concerning the merits of any application, appeal, or other matter pending before the BZA. No member of the BZA shall participate in any such private discussion. Site visits or similar contacts initiated by BZA members shall not constitute such ex parte contacts. •A copy of the foregoing application is on file at the Zoning Office in Washington, Virginia, and is available for public inspection, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM to 4:30PM.
