bill passes Senate
RICHMOND. VA. — The minimum wage in Virginia could rise from $5.15 an hour to $6.50 an hour.
SB 1327, sponsored by Sen. Charles Colgan (D-Manassas) would change the state’s conformation to the Federal minimum wage. The bill would take effect July 1 if approved by the House and Gov. Tim Kaine.
