Lenten Services
Community Lenten Services hosted by Washington Baptist Church begin on Wednesday, Feb. 28 and continue each Wednesday through March 28. This year’s theme is “John 16.” Participating in each service are the Methodist Churches (of Flint Hill, Sperryville and Willis Chapel); Trinity Episcopal; St. Peter’s Catholic Church and Reynolds and Washington Baptist. Each service begins with a pot-luck dinner at 6:15 p.m., followed by worship at 7 p.m. On Feb. 28, Washington Baptist will host the dinner, TVinity Episcopal will lead the music and Rev.
