have remained relatively stable over the past few years. In Rappahannock however, this year’s 11th grade class scored significantly higher than did its counterpart four years ago.
The SRA tests administered here last fall relate the performance of Rappahannock students with fourth, eighth and eleventh graders in school divisions throughout the state as well as with the national norm.
The 50th percentile, or national norm, is the point above which half the students in the national sample scored and below which half the same group scored.
