It is sunny, cheerful and open, but with cubicles for patients who need isolation. Now, nurses at the ICU station can monitor six people at a time; two more can be added with some additional equipment. Intensive care use has increased considerably since the addition of the new unit, underwritten by The Rochester Corporation.
