IN RE: NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR CONSIDERATION OF AMENDMENT TO ZONING OR DlNANCE OF THE TOWN OF WASHINGTON, VIRGINIA

Pursuant to Article 8 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Washington, Virginia and Section 15.1-431 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Washington, Virginia will consider an amendment to the zoning ordinance of the Town of Washington, Virginia on Tuesday, April 8, I960 at 7.30 P.M. at the Rappahannock County Courthouse. Said amendment provides that the Planning Commission of the County of Rappahannock shall be designated as the Planning Commission of the Town of Washington pursuant to Virginia Code Section 15.1-443. Said amendment further provides that all references to the Planning Commission of the Town of Washington contained in the zoning ordinance of said town shall be deleted from said ordinance. All citizens of the Town of Washington interested in these amendments are encouraged to be present at the Rappahannock County Courthouse, Washington, Virginia, for the aforesaid public hearing, after which public hearing the Town Council will vote on said amendment. Copies of this proposed amendment may be examined in the offices of Douglas K. Baumgardner, Attorney for the Town of Washington, Virginia, between the hours of B:30 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
