“The large number of individuals who have given their services over the years, as trustees, pink ladies and in other capacities, indicates a strong belief and interest in the hospital,” says Giles H. Miller Jr., president of the Board of Trustees of Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Tm on the board because I feel the hospital is so important to the area,” according to Miller. “It has meant so much, and saved so many lives.”

Miller particular credits the Culpeper Jayceettes with the effort which led to the founding of the hospital, and Mrs. Betty Adair, who was Jayceette president at the time. Others whose commitment went deep included T.I. Martin, John Rogers, who was the first president, J. Carlton Clore, Karl Hellinger, Mrs Maxwell Willis, Jack Eggbom and many others.
