The University of Arkansas is recruiting volunteers who have had only one heart attack in the past five years to participate in a national cholesterol study.
The National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute study is being conducted at three medical centers, including the University, to determine whether lowering blood cholesterol levels will help prevent heart attacks. A University physician explained that the study needs one thousand men and women as participants.
