Ability Vs. Achievement
As they have in the past four years, Rappahannock students have achieved beyond their ability level as measured by the SRA and STEA tests.
Rappahannock’s fourth graders ranked at the 49th percentile level this year, based on the ability test, yet scored higher in achievement tests: 57th percentile in reading, 56th in language arts, 52nd in math concepts, 49th in math computations, 51st in math totals, 53rd in social studies and 51st in science.
