The Rev. Mr. Anderson D. Goodson will be visiting the Rappahannock Charge of the United Methodist Church on March 23*27 where he will be the speaker for services in the PROCLAIM THE WORD event.
Mr. Goodson is presently serving as pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Hampton. Having graduated in the public schools of West Virginia, he attended West Virginia Institute of Technology, earning a B.S. Degree in Industrial Arts. He then completed two years of graduate degree requirements in the field of religion from the University of Virginia and four summer school sessions in Supply Pastors’ School at Duke University.
Mr. Goodson taught for five years before entering the ministry. His ministerial service includes being chaplain at the Miller School in Albermarle and associate pastor at First United Methodist Church in Charlottesville. He is a former pastor of the Rappahannock Charge, the Nelson Circuit, and churches in Clarksville. Lawrenceville
