After voting to approve the transfer, the board unanimously returned the superintendent’s authority to move funds from line item to line item within a category.
In the future, payrolls and warrants approved each month by the board will give the line item and category that the budget expenditure is charged to and will show all inter-category transfers. Transfers from category to category in the budget will continue to require prior school board approval.
